Power supply cables
Our power cables achieve their low-pass characteristics (Low-Pass Cables (LP)) through an EMC/COM ferrite coating, in which each individual conductor is provided with a ferrite sheath. This allows low frequencies such as DC voltage, AC voltage and cable-based communication signals to pass through without interference, while high-frequency noise signals (e.g. radio frequencies) are effectively suppressed.
The cables are available in 50 m coils or 500 m drums; other lengths are available on request.

Construction of EMC power cables
Our EMC power cables are available in 3-core and 4-core versions. Each conductor is coated with an EMC/COM absorption layer made of ferrite. A PVC insulation layer is applied over the conductors and the EMC/COM layer.
In the 3-core cable, the coated conductors are additionally shielded with an aluminum-polyester tape, while the 4-core power cable features a tinned copper braid shielding.
The outer sheath of the EMC cables consists of a light grey or black PVC insulation (see schematic, not-to-scale structure of the 3-core power cable – GNLM).
In the 4-core LP/LIMHCH cable, both the PVC insulation and the PVC outer sheath are halogen-free.

GNLM: 3-core (blue, brown, green-yellow): Cores are laid-up in concentric layers.
1: Conductor: Tinned copper conductor
2: Ferrite coating: EMC/COM (protective conductor not ferrite-coated)
3: Insulation: PVC
4: Shielding: Aluminium-polyester tape in contact with a tinned braided screen
5: Outer sheath: PVC outer sheath (GNLM 3G1.0OZ light grey, GNLM 3G2.5AL black)
