Our ESD generators are suitable for various standards. The SESD guns SESD 216 and 230 from Schlöder fulfil the IEC 61000-4-2 standard, the ONYX 30 from Haefely is also suitable for the ISO 10605 standard. For ESD simulator ONYX from Haefely (IEC 61000-4-2 / ISO 10605)
Some accessories can be used with both Schlöder and Haefely ESD guns. In addition to the IEC 61000-4-2 standard, the ONYX ESD gun from Haefely is also suitable for the automotive standard ISO 10605. Unlike the general IEC 61000-4-2 standard, which operates with a fixed network (150 pF / 330 Ω), ISO 10605 covers various discharge scenarios in and on the vehicle, resulting in different requirements for the generator's capacitance and resistance. Thanks to interchangeable RC plug-in modules for the ESD simulator, you do not need to purchase separate devices for every scenario -the appropriate module can easily be swapped directly on the ESD gun. Therefore, please remember to order the matching RC modules when making your purchase. We will be happy to advise you.
