The current injection clamp is used to inject RF current into cables of electrical devices to test susceptibility to radiated electromagnetic energy. With the help of the practical tension fasteners, the clamp can be easily clamped around test conductors and supports cable harness diameters of up to 40 mm. It is designed to meet the specifications of IEC 61000-4-6 standards for automotive BCI testing.

The CDN BCI-P1 has an integrated temperature sensor and low insertion loss. The current clamp is supplied with a calibration set (JIG) and calibration certificate. The JIG is used to measure the insertion loss of the current clamp and complies with the ISO 11452-4 and IEC 61000-4-6 standards.

To cover the ISO 11452-4 and MIL STD-461G (CS114), a CDN BCI-P1_MT-1 transformer is also required. We will be happy to advise you on the configuration of your devices.

The scope of delivery includes the calibration holder (JIG) with an N socket and an SMB cable (temperature sensor cable). The calibration holder is used to measure the insertion loss of the current injection clamp and complies with the ISO 11452-4 and IEC 61000-4-6 standards. 

 

The CDN BCI-P1_MT-1 transformer is required as an accessory for the current edition of ISO 11452-4, 100 kHz - 400 MHz and for MIL STD-461G (CS114).
