Magnetic field
In order to test electronic and electrical devices for their resistance against magnetic fields, such magnetic fields are artificially generated by means of so-called magnetic field generators and additional field and Helmholtz coils or magnetic field coils. Their effect on the devices is examined. How the tests are carried out and whether the devices are sufficiently shielded against this interference, is regulated by legal standards such as IEC 61000-4-8, MIL-STD-461, ISO 11452-8, DO-160 Section 18 / 19, Automotive.
Coils and other accessories for magnetic field tests
A comprehensive range of accessories is available for the magnetic field generator MGA 1033 to generate magnetic fields in accordance with various standards. These include field coils, sensor coils or Helmholtz coils, which are available individually from 1 to 3 axes with different numbers of windings and in different frame lengths. As the standards are constantly being changed or extended, especially in the automotive sector, we are happy to check which accessories are required in combination with the MGA 1033.
We have also put together complete sets for testing the standards in the medical sector, which make testing in different frequency ranges much easier. We will be happy to advise you on the selection of your required accessories!
